OUR MISSION

To make a difference …… and provide Readers to the slight-sighted in order that a “take for granted” situation actually makes a difference in somebody’s life who does not have access to such an easy thing as a pair of reading glasses – and their sight changes their lives.

OUR
VISION

Eye Love Africa was born out of the love of connection shared by Sussi and Brigitte on one of their trips in Africa

LOSS OF SIGHT

The amount of nearsightedness you have determines how close or far you need to hold an item to see it clearly without your glasses on. If you are mildly nearsighted (with a prescription of -1.50 or -2.00 D, for example) you will see very well at a normal reading distance of 35 – 40 cms (use a 30cm ruler to measure is a good tool).

What You Need to Test Your Vision Measure “reading” distance and test 1-2-3 glasses:-  (the glasses must suit the eye not necessarily the lens strength).

WE WERE INSPIRED BY THESE WORDS

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.  It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life that we lead.”

-Nelson Mandela
